Israel Trip 2013
Saturday, May 11th, 2013I recently traveled to Israel for work and had the opportunity to enjoy some site-seeing while there. We had a great time both working and playing there, the amount of history in Jerusalem was mind-blowing and only scratched the surface. We also traveled to Masada and the Dead Sea which was equally amazing -floating in the Dead Sea was an really neat experience!
Below are some videos that I created and a link to a bunch of pictures I took as well. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them!

We had the chance to visit the Temple Mount - is one of the most important religious sites in the Old City of Jerusalem. It has been used as a religious site for thousands of years. At least four religions are known to have used the Temple Mount: Judaism,Christianity, Roman religion, and Islam:
Floating in the Dead Sea - The Dead Sea has attracted visitors from around the Mediterranean basin for thousands of years. Biblically, it was a place of refuge for King David. It was one of the world’s first health resorts (for Herod the Great), and it has been the supplier of a wide variety of products, from balms for Egyptianmummification to potash for fertilizers. People also use the salt and the minerals from the Dead Sea to create cosmetics and herbal sachets:
The Dead Sea seawater has a density of 1.240 kg/L, which makes swimming similar to floating.
